Starboard Side Gallery and Studio’s Mission is to provide affordable artist studios and a community gallery to engage, inform and inspire our community, local artists, and students to broad range of artistic techniques. Through the arts we hope to create a stronger bond with in our community by bringing people with creative interest together who may have never met before.
The Starboard Side Arts Gallery, Studios and Store is located on the ground floor of the Portside Arts Center 501 (c)(3) non-profit community arts center. The Starboard Side Gallery will exhibit local, visiting, and Portside's talented students work. Every First Friday the gallery will be open to the public and Portside will provide a FREE family arts & crafts workshop. The artists who reside in our studios will be able to exhibit their work and curate shows/events in the gallery. They will also have the opportunity to hold teaching workshops for the community.
